GLPG arranged funding to acquire and redevelop a derelict house in Belgravia, a prime central London location. The property, which had fallen into significant disrepair, was acquired by a private developer to deliver a high-value single dwelling to meet demand in the luxury market.
The scheme involved a complete redesign and rebuild to modern specifications, including high-end finishes, contemporary infrastructure, and full compliance with planning and building regulations.
GLPG secured a bespoke development facility of approximately £10 million, structured to align with the project’s cashflow profile and construction programme. The lender selected had experience with prime central London schemes and provided the flexibility required for a complex, high-value build.
