GLPG were instructed by their client to dispose of a site in North Finchley, subject to planning consent to provide a luxury scheme of nine brand-new apartments.
After just 7 days, GLPG were in receipt of over ten formal offers, in excess of the vendor’s price expectation. An exchange of contracts took place 10-days thereafter.
The planning application was refused locally, where the purchaser, Troy Homes, stepped in and managed the appeal process. A new second application was also submitted, to provide an even larger scheme. Both planning applications were subsequently granted, providing the vendor with an overage payment.
